Founder Mary Stelletello on “Pay It Forward” Special Offer to Ellevate Network Members

As a B Corp certified business owner, I regularly encounter inspiring organizations that are committed to using the power of business as a force for good. Through B Corp, I learned about Ellevate Network, a global community of professional women committed to elevating themselves and their careers.

I joined and found that they were just launching a chapter in my local community. It was a perfect opportunity to connect more intentionally with amazing women. The launch event brought together a panel of women that shared their individual journeys of entrepreneurship, breaking the glass ceiling, becoming angel investors and being bold enough to follow their purpose with passion.

The panel was moderated by Ellevate Network President, Kristy Wallace. Kristy asked panelists to share their insights and learnings through exploring the topics of overcoming failure, how networking impacted their careers, how they built confidence and the influence mentors had on their success.

Universal Lessons on Leadership Development

When asked about overcoming failure, one panelist said, “Part of the process of growing is to expand beyond your comfort zone, and see things as learning opportunities.” This comment really struck a chord with me, in its alignment with a core principle of the Vista Leadership Institute.

The Institute challenges participants to stretch themselves to explore the possibilities of “What’s next?” at any point in their career. It introduces tools, such as Design Thinking to allow yourself to think creatively about your next chapter professionally. The heart of the Institute is a 7-day retreat in Oaxaca, Mexico to create the break from your day-to-day routine and provide the space to explore and align your next chapter with your purpose and values.

Institute Discount and Membership Gift

As I became more familiar with the vision of the Ellevate Network, I recognized that this is a group of women that aligned with the vision and purpose of the Vista Leadership Institute. Therefore, I wanted to create access for participation for Ellevate members.

Ellevate Members will receive a 10% discount on the program fee, using promo code ELLEVATE10. In addition, with my Ellevate membership, I have the opportunity to give one Emerging Professional membership to any woman of my choice. I will offer that Emerging Professional membership to a 2017 Vista Leadership Institute graduate, upon completion of the program.

Do you know someone who would benefit from the Vista Leadership Institute or an Ellevate Emerging Professional membership? Spread the word and share this blog with your networks.
